Welcome!

We’re a warm and welcoming community for homeschool families with children ages 5–18, with younger siblings always welcome to join the fun. As a brand new homeschool group, we’re excited to grow together! We meet at New Hope Worship Center each Friday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for a mix of learning, fellowship, and activities—building friendships, exploring new skills, and encouraging one another in both faith and life.

We are a Christ-centered homeschooling community where faith inspires learning, friendships grow, and hearts find encouragement. We offer support and connection that honor the natural rhythms of busy family life, creating a nurturing space where parents and children can grow, rest, and thrive.

Ready to join us? Please register before our first Meet & Greet on September 12, 2025!

Join Our Facebook Community
We have a private Facebook group where families in the homeschool group connect, share resources, and stay updated on events. Because it’s a closed group, membership is by invitation only. If you’re interested in joining, please email us here so we can send you an invite!

Meet the Teachers
Our dedicated team of volunteer teachers brings a variety of skills, experiences, and passions to our group—each with a heart for serving homeschool families and pointing children to Christ. We’re excited for you to get to know them!

Kelly Dove-Director/ Group Leader

Hi, I’m Kelly! I have over 25 years of experience teaching preschool and music. This is my third year homeschooling, and I love bringing music and movement into the classroom. For me, God is always #1, and I want that to shine through in everything I do. I’ve been happily married for 29 years and we have a beautiful 14-year-old daughter. When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me working out, listening to music, or having fun being active.

Fun fact — I absolutely LOVE all things Christmas!

Melissa Park – Group Leader

Hey there, I’m Melissa! I’ve got a background in both Early Childhood Education and Music Education, and I even went on to earn my master’s in Music Ed. Over the years, I’ve taught everything from kindergarten to high school band, and now I get to homeschool my kids. I’d describe my homeschool style as pretty eclectic — I like to find what works best for my kids and roll with it. I’ve been with my husband, Scott for 18 years and we have five kids who keep life exciting. I love playing clarinet, making music, and I have a quirky love for pipe organs (don’t judge!).

Katie Clark – Group Leader

Hey, I’m Katie! I have degrees in Elementary and Special Education, and I taught first grade for over 4 years. These days, I’m in year five of homeschooling my three kids, and I especially love teaching Bible, reading, and music. My biggest passion is helping my kids (and others!) learn to follow Jesus and grow as His disciples. I married my high school sweetheart 16 years ago, and we still love doing life together. In my free time, you’ll probably find me singing, playing music, or hanging out with my family.

Fun fact — I’m actually a twin!

“Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
