Welcome!
We’re a warm and welcoming community for homeschool families with children ages 5–18, with younger siblings always welcome to join the fun. As a brand new homeschool group, we’re excited to grow together! We meet at New Hope Worship Center each Friday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for a mix of learning, fellowship, and activities—building friendships, exploring new skills, and encouraging one another in both faith and life.
We are a Christ-centered homeschooling community where faith inspires learning, friendships grow, and hearts find encouragement. We offer support and connection that honor the natural rhythms of busy family life, creating a nurturing space where parents and children can grow, rest, and thrive.

Ready to join us? Please register before our first Meet & Greet on September 12, 2025!

Join Our Facebook Community
We have a private Facebook group where families in the homeschool group connect, share resources, and stay updated on events. Because it’s a closed group, membership is by invitation only. If you’re interested in joining, please email us here so we can send you an invite!

Meet the Teachers
Our dedicated team of volunteer teachers brings a variety of skills, experiences, and passions to our group—each with a heart for serving homeschool families and pointing children to Christ. We’re excited for you to get to know them!

Kelly Dove – Director / Group Leader
Kelly holds a childcare credential and has over 25 years of experience teaching preschool and music. This is her third year homeschooling, and she brings her skills in music, movement, and sports into the classroom. Her faith is central—"God is always #1." Married for 29 years, Kelly has a 14-year-old daughter. In her free time, she enjoys music, working out, sports, and fun!
Fun fact — she loves all things Christmas!

Melissa Park – Group Leader
Melissa holds a B.S. in Early Childhood Education (P–3) and Music Education (K–12) from Messiah University, and an M.M.E. from Kent State University. She has a wide range of teaching experience, including kindergarten, elementary music, choral directing, and high school band. Now an eclectic homeschooler, she adapts to her children’s needs while bringing her skills in planning, organization, and music to the co-op. Melissa and her husband Scott have been together for 18 years and have five children. She enjoys making music—especially clarinet and pipe organs.
Fun fact — she has a unique love of pipe organs!

Katie Clark – Group Leader
Katie holds bachelor’s degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education. She has over four years of teaching experience in first grade. Now in her fifth year of homeschooling her three kids, she loves teaching Bible, reading, and music, following Jesus’ call to make disciples. Married to her high school sweetheart for 16 years, Katie enjoys singing, playing music, and spending time with family.
Fun fact — she’s a twin!

“Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20 NLT
